"I returned them for no other reason than the Alpinestars Drystar v2 trousers I bought them for, with the thought that I might upgrade them, do not in fact have hip pockets sewn in. It is not possible therefor to replace the standard soft foam (not very substantial in my opinion) pads in these trousers unless you either make a velcro attachable pocket for them, or stick velcro to the D30 pads (not easy).
