"Excellent tough pair of jeans. Extra short which is unavailable at most suppliers is perfect. Felt warm even at higher speeds and comfortable. Hopefully I won’t find out about their abrasion resistance but by the quality I’m confident they would stand up well."

"Unfortunately these jeans had hugely wide legs and quite baggy around the bottom / hips. Sent back for a refund which was done very quickly and efficiently in JTS's usual great customer service."

"Hi Paul, our apologies you weren't happy with the JTS Blaze jeans. The wideness of the Blaze is just the styling of them as some people do prefer a wider jean. We would recommend JTS Warrior jeans to you as these fit much more like normal jeans with a straight/slim leg fit. Our jeans do tend to fit on the generous side, as they have stretch denim in them, so we'd always suggest going down a waist size to what you would normally wear. Hope this has helped and thank you for the kind feedback on the customer service you have received from us."

"My first order didn't fit, as I ordered the wrong size . With the help of "Joanne", I was recommended the jeans that I got. Glad I did. They are a perfect fit & due to this hot weather, are a lot cooler than the leathers I normally wear. No quibble, no probs or arguing , just replaced. Thanks again. Alan."

"These jeans are made of very heavy duty denim which, with the additional strength of Kevlar patches, give confidence that they would offer decent protection in the event of an accident. The size selected was the same as for other trousers and this proved fine for the waist, but around three inches too long in the leg, requiring a turnup. Perhaps because of the long length on a ‘regular’ size, the knee pads feel on the low side and the means of adjusting them higher is rather crude. Additional ‘pouches’ for the knee armour would have been helpful."

"Ordered over the Internet but wasn't sure what length I should go for so settled for long although I'm of average height. Within the hour, a very helpful lady assistant rang me to let me know that the jeans, in my size and long were out of stock, but had them in regular length. She even went to the bother of going to the stock room and measuring them to give me the true length. Upon her advice, I decided to go ahead and have the regular length jeans. They were delivered the very next day (from purchase to door in less than 24 hours - impressive). I'm very pleased I followed the advice given as they fit perfectly - the long, had they been in stock, would have been much too long. So far, I'm very pleased with the jeans and how they feel and look. Just hope I don't have to put them to the test!"

"I didn’t listen to the advice to buy a size smaller and yep you guessed it - it was too big. Rang the help line and had some very helpful advice. The smaller exchange size came 24 hours later and the wrong pair collected! Excellent! Good quality jean which gives confidence they’ll give the protection expected if called upon. Only niggle: the knee protection is a bit low even after adjustment requiring the material to be yanked up once on the bike but something I can live with."

"I bought these jeans because they didn't seem as hot to wear as my usual bike trousers, and they are perfect. I should have bought a size smaller, but a good belt has cured that. Nicely made and good protection too, good thick denim material and reinforced in the areas that need it. Will soon buy another pair in another colour, they are more than good enough to wear when not on the bike. Highly recommended."

"excellent heavy weight jean with Kevlar and knee protection I will buy some armour for the hip pockets later.used jeans recently for bike rally and they were great kept me warm and feel good to wear on my bike I like the loose fit.they look good on too.i am usually 32 waist but these are 34 and fits fine.would buy again."

"The jeans are a very sturdy quality with reinforced kevlar where you need it. The knee pads are standard protection and very handy in that the position can be altered to fit. The only down side for me is that they are very baggy. I got my usual size, I couldn't go any smaller as the waist wouldn't fit me, and they are very loose around the legs and have a boot cut finish, so flap in the wind around my ankles. A velcro fixing on the ankle would be an easy solution. I would recommend this product."

"Hi, The legs were too long and too wide and I found the knees very uncomfortable with or without the pads. I have had other clothes and have always been more than satisfied, in fact they saved me from making a big mess of my legs when I had a serious motorcycle accident which nearly became a fatality, pelvis broken in two places a dislocated knee a displaced knee cap and four broken ligaments. My point being my jeans were still intact, no rips or tears except from where the medics had to cut them off. So I am very pleased with your products and will at some time have another look at some of your produce. Sorry about the hassle on this occasion. Many thanks, Kind regards, Mike."

"We're so pleased that the jeans served their purpose during your accident and that you are ok. Thank you for taking the time to let us know. With regards to the fit, we do different leg lengths and another type of water resistant jean called the Warrior jeans that are a more narrow fit. We have also improved the armour pockets, they are much softer now with less Velcro strips. You may find these a much better fit."

"Solid pair of trousers and certainly good enough for my 'non-aggressive', 'avoid the boundaries' style of riding while keeping the IAM satisfied for wearing more than my usual casual trousers. (Why don't they make good looking 'safe' casual trousers but which do not look like 'denims' or leathers.. the sort you can walk into a restaurant in ??? ) But while the knee padding looks OK when on the bike, when standing up it is 'low' and I would expect it to be too low when sliding along the tarmac. Despite ordering 'regular' length and being a standard build, using a 31 leg, we had to turn up 50 mm from the legs. Overall 4 stars and happy"

"Thanks for your feedback Derek - the knee pads are adjustable so this should help. Maybe consider trying our Warrior Jeans to solve the points you've mentioned...:)"

"I've had JTS and Draggin biker jeans before but due to weight loss needed some more. I never had a problem with the JTS and were the equal of much more expensive jeans. The new ones are even better before. They fit well, although tend to be longer than regular jeans. The armour stays were you need it. Whilst heavy they're not hot to wear. I've not had to test them in an accident but they seem solid enough to offer some protection against gravel rash without falling to bits. "

"Good leg length, but far too short in the rise. They feel like 1960's hipsters. "
In reply JTS wrote:
"Hi Peter - Many thanks for leaving feedback. We have adjusted the rise on these jeans and most of our stock is deeper here. If you haven't worn them we can see if we have a higher waisted one available to exchange for you. Please get in touch. "

"First pair of riding jeans I've owned and they are very comfortable and size fitted perfectly. The only niggle I have is the Velcro on the armour pockets within the legs rub agains my shin, which has taken some skin off!! However, it's nothing a bit of gaffa tape and a pair of long socks won't sort out;) Well made with strong stitching where you need it most. Great colour, deep pockets so don't have to worry about stuff falling out while riding. Style is ok, and not that I'm a style icon or anything, but could do with them not being so baggy on the legs, but that's just my personal opinion. Good value for money."

"Being vertically challenged I have had issues with kevlar jeans with short legs and have ended up with the knee armour on my shins! With the extra short leg on these I now have a decent pair. They are good quality thick denim and comfortable. I would definitely recommend them."

"I'm very impressed with the waterproofing on these trousers, they've saved me getting soaked a couple of times. The fit is comfortable, maybe a bit on the large size, but I'm not complaining. Though I would recommend swapping out the knee armour that comes with them for something a little better. The only real problem with the waist size I needed, they were about 2 inches too long in the leg, but that was easily fixed. "
