Job description
We have a vacancy for a temporary, part-time Warehouse & Sales Assistant to join our Company. JTS Biker Clothing is a family-owned motorcycle clothing company based in Coalville, Leicestershire (LE67 3LG). The position will be available until August / September with a possibility of it leading to permanent employment.
The primary focus of the role will be to assist in our warehouse with shipments, unpacking and keeping the warehouse tidy and well organised. You will also be required to assist with; picking and packing for our on-line orders; helping with serving customers in our showroom; keeping the showroom tidy and well stocked.
From our shop, we sell a range of motorcycle clothing brands as well as our own brand.
We are passionate about providing high quality clothing and accessories at an excellent price, with customer service being of paramount importance to our business.
The applicant applying for this position should ideally have a good fitness and energy; have good communication skills, be mature, honest, and hardworking.
The role will involve:
- Warehouse duties.
- Handling a shop till, cash and credit card transactions.
- To have a flexible attitude towards work and undertake any other tasks and duties required.
- Provide back up and support when necessary.
Requirements:
- Prefer some experience with customer service.
- Prefer some experience using a till and handling credit cards / cash.
- Be a team player, willing to be flexible and adaptable.
- Enthusiasm.
Contract Type: Temporary, part-time position – until August / September. Could turn into permanent position.
Hours: 3-4 days a week which might include regular Saturday work. Must be available 9.30am-5.30pm and can work the full shift.
Expected start date: Mid-March
