"These jeans are quite heavy due to double lining and you need to order 1 or 2 sizes up from normal fit jeans due to thickness of the lining. That said, they are good quality and JTS swapped and sent out larger size straight after a free postage return. Great customer service thanks, the new larger size now fits great."

"Thought they'd be great. They are comfy and look good, but after using for two weeks found that the stitching at the bottom of the leg, on the inside has just fallen apart. Not tight in the area, quite loose, not against anything on the bike, so surprised they have just ripped. Will be contacting JST for return and replacement. "

"Love 'em. Fit like a glove and armour is barley noticeable (it's removable anyway). Good price too, my other half paid more than this for a pair of fashion jeans. Great with a JTS leather 'Brando-style' jacket (reviewed separately) to complete my '60s 'rocker' look aboard my Triton. Happy customer."

"These jeans are brilliant, after 1500 miles in them I have no complaints, bought them in September in the heatwave and they were pretty warm. In normal conditions they are perfect. I’m normally a 30 waist in jeans but ordered 32 and fit well. Some mentioned the knee padding to thick but it’s adjustable and give it time as they bed in with use. Highly recommended. "

"Service was brilliant took me a number of attempts to get the right size. I had to go up by 2 sizes to get the right fit. There free return and refund process was very good and very easy to uses. The returns process was also fault free. As far as the jeans go too early to say if they are any good, time will tell, but they seem to be very well made. i hope i will not need to put them to a full test as this would mean i have spent some time sliding down a road with out my bike! Very happy to buy from them again."

"I wish I could give them 5 stars unfortunately they did not fit and were rather tight on my thigh and legs but loose in my waste. The length was absolutely spot on. My every day jeans is waist 38 length 34 I’m 6.4 tall. For reference. They looked solid build and great color. I wish I could have enjoy them on my rides. Best L Search is still on. "

"I looked at/tried on quite a lot of other armoured jeans, but they either didn't offer the AAA rating or they fitted badly. Lots of armoured jeans don't offer a Short leg option, but with JTS offering Short legs and the option of free returns, I decided to try their jeans out. Perfect fit straight away, nice amount of stretch for swinging your leg over the bike, plus they have height-adjustable knee armour. Absolutely spot on. What's more, JTS kindly phoned me up to let me know that they were having a 10% sale on the jeans I'd only just ordered, so they refunded me 10% so that I didn't feel as though I'd missed out! Great service, perfect jeans, and I'm already spreading the word and recommending JTS and their jeans off the back of an excellent first experience. Thank you, JTS! "

"Had to exchange a pair of textile trousers, no problem there staff extremely helpful, replacement jeans seem good quality and fit, be able to tell more when I have used them for a while. Particular thanks to the to the young lady who took the trouble to locate my keys which I had left in the pocket of the returned item, I would for sure recommend JTS. Thanks so much. Mike."

"I must say from first emailing to receiving my jeans what a great service I was speaking to a Joanne wright who was very helpful with my inquiries taking time to measure the jeans so I didn’t waste my time or there’s and thanks to her I ended up ordering and I’m glad I did I have really large calves about 18 inches and because of this most rider Jeans either don’t fit or are just to tight but these jeans although are a snug fit around that area the stretchy material make them comfortable they are the best jeans I’ve found so far for fit and comfort they look Like great quality and hopes are high for there durability but only time will tell I highly recommend you check them out big thumbs up from me "

"Great jeans, my second pair. Armour is a little bulky so advise going for the thinner level two armour on the knees. The thicker armour on the hips can make you look like a girl and a bit restrictive - so again thinner level two armour. My personal choice was to replace with Oxford’s thinner amour. D30 would also work fine. Slight waxy finish repells water - I know! Finally the knees have height adjustment. Take the time to move it around until you’re happy. Now go ride!"

"Excellent. I'm a 34-35 waist, 6ft 2 inch, bought the 36 waist. Fit is good. A little tight around the thigh area,even with the stretch facility. If the waist band was 1 inch higher and the thighs a little wider they would be perfect, and I mean perfect. Great comfort and give excellent feel and grip on the bike. It's nice to know they are AAA rated also. Will probably buy again. Great product!"

"Excellent jeans. Before finding JTS, I’d tried numerous pairs from different manufacturers but the sizing, cut and quality was all over the place. These jeans from JTS are far superior in terms of quality, style, comfort and safety rating, and that’s compared to some that are double the price. Excellent service from JTS and highly recommended."

"Looking for jeans that I can wear on a motorbike was a daunting task as I'm 6'9. I came across the JTS Cool Ryder AAA and decided to order a pair not expecting them to fit, but upon trying them on I was pleasantly surprised. They were comfortable and fitted my 38 inch seem. I would definitely recommend trying a pair if your vertically challenged. "

"First item of motorcycle clothing I've worn which is super comfortable 'out of the box'. Good quality product. Only criticism is sizing, because they are stretchy, the 42's I bought are easily big enough and I'm normally a 42-44, I'm sure I would have comfortably got away with a pair of 40's. Having to wear belt and braces to keep them up! Length wise I'm a 29 inside leg and the short I ordered are plenty long enough when sat. Overall a excellent product I would recommend."

"I traveled 50 miles to the shop today on recommendation from a friend who purchased these jeans on Monday The jeans are superb quality including armour. They have a slightly stretchy material to go over your boots . I bought these jeans and also a pair of boots The customer service i received was excellent nothing was two much trouble. I would highly recommend JTS. They even offered to make me a coffee "

"I've been wearing these jeans for a couple of years now and I'm still so pleased with them. I'm 6'2" and with all the other jeans I've owned the knee pads were up beyond my knees, near my thigh. I got these jeans in an extra-long fit, so they fit over my boots, down to my feet when riding (no draughty gaps!), and the ability to adjust the knee pads and make them lower has made all the difference. They fit properly, look good, and provide protection in the knees which other jeans couldn't. I'm now getting a little older and a little wider, and will be getting these jeans again, just the next size up. ;)"

"Great summer jeans. Very comfortable. Cool in the heat, and provide enough weather protection on cooler rides. Smart enough to wear off the bike if you stop for lunch or refreshments etc. I sized up slightly so I could wear a base layer when it's cooler, there's enough stretch in the fabric for that. They're quite long, I got the short leg, and they fit over my RST Paragon 2 boots."

"Seemed good quality, material felt nice and they were a good stretch. However they didn't fit great on me, I'm 6ft7 160kg big guy, the calf's were a bit tight and the jeans were like an extra low rider, felt like a rapper from the 90s. I can't seem to find any jean company that scales the rise with the leg length and waist!"

"Outstanding product in every respect, combining protection, comfort and versatility in one garment. The stretch fabric not only allows freedom of movement but also an easy fit over riding boots. I got caught in a heavy rain shower on my second outing and can confirm that the water resistance does its job very well. Above all, you feel well protected riding with these thanks to the substantial armour and robust construction generally. Having read the reviews and after a conversation with JTS, I went a size up allowing for the hip pads and the fit is perfect with a belt. Good value for such a well designed, high quality product, available in a very large range of sizes (including hard to find big and/or tall)."

"Nice, comfortable & for once a pair of jeans long enough for them not to be 'ankle swingers' me when sitting on the bike...They got a little bit warm at times on my Journey down thru France and doing a lap of Spain..But then again, the Temps were on the High side even for these places... Loved the ability to adjust the height of the knee pads, so that their not halfway up ones thigh..I will definitely buy another pair... On the downside: The stitching at the bottom of the L/H front pocket gave way after just over one weeks wearing..I only found out, because my mobile slid down into my boot whilst out walking....Sadly, i didnt feel the 200Euros in notes & phone charging lead fall thru, so somebody in Gibraltar had a nice windfall...."

"Called before hand to ask about sizing. A nice , polite lady answered and advised me on the sizing. It fits perfect. I like that it is stretchy, it fits better around your body. It has hips and knee armours. Please spend sometime to adjust the placement. They are easily adjustable with strong Velcro for that perfect fit. Remember armour must be over your knees and hips. There is advice on the their web site for rain proofing and wash care. They fit me perfectly well, and I ordered my normal size 34. For the price it is very cool Ryder."

"I'm a recent convert to motorcycle jeans, been wearing cordura gear for years. I was pleasantly surprised (amazed in fact) as to how comfortable and light they feel on the bike. I feel they'll offer adequate protection when needed (no intention of trying this out!) and they look great when off the bike. The only "grip" I have is that no matter how I try to adjust the knee armour )and there's a fair bit of adjustment available) I just can't get the amour to sit actually over my knees, it's always towards the inside! Overall though I'm delighted with my jeans and as always the service from Joanne and the team at JTS was fantastic, thanks guys."

"Excellent quality and fit. We have just done a 3000 mile European trip. They got a bit hot and sweaty it times, but I think anything would in the heat we experienced. The only problems I had with them was the knee pads sit on the inside of my knee no matter how I try to adjust them. The pocket is in the wrong place. Other wise it would be 5 stars. John"

"great fitting jeans, very comfortable, feel very well made too, and look cool as. available in the shorter leg too which is awesome for the smaller rider. one negative, the water proofing is non existent, 1st ride home in the rain, not heavy either but was as wet as would be in normal jeans. maybe my pair forgot to be waterproofed so will wash with nikwax as recommended and see if any improvement. if i can come back at later date and comment on durability i will."

"I've been looking for a AAA rated summer jean for ages. Everything I ordered either didn't fit comfortably or was prohibitively expensive. These Cool Ryder jeans fit well, are very comfortable and the price makes them excellent value for money. They fit like a pair of Levi's. I'm very pleased with them. JTS service was fantastic too. Speedy delivery. "

"Good fit (34" fitted a 35" waist); slim on the leg, look good off and on the bike and the quality gave confidence that they would give the necessary protection. Just back from a trip to Europe and they were worn every day. They withstood light showers without the need to resort to full waterproofs. I'd definitely recommend them."

"I have been using JTS for over 10 years. I have JTS 2 piece leathers, JTS full textiles and this is the second pair of JTS jeans I've bought from them. I'm 6ft 4 and 36 waist so got the 36 extra long as I've done with all my JTS gear. These are perfect on the waist with a bit of stretch for comfort. When on the bike the jeans sit perfectly covering my high top boots just below the ankle, so no leg showing. Extremely comfortable and a slimish fit so not flapping about in the wind. Adjustable knee pads a great touch. AAA protection for a great price and superb quality. Small or tall JTS have it covered and never disappoint. I would never shop anywhere else, thanks again. "

"I really rate these jeans, I'm a fat f***** and they are stretchy and they suit me just fine. The armour is quite low profile and the fit is real good, I'd recommend them, the leg is a bit long for me but that's why people wear turnups - not cos they're cool, just shorter than their circumference lol :)"

"Excellent Customer Service .They were just waiting for stock of these Jeans. They contacted Me by phone and kept Me in the loop to when My order would arrive. Great fit good quality Jean. AAA RATING. I like the wicker lining and with having a short leg the ability to be able to adjust the knee protector by two inches by releasing the Velcro strips. Thanks JTS."
