"Jeans are very well made, I ordered the 36” waist but found them too tight I couldn’t even get my leg over my bike so had to return them and go for the next size up 38”, unfortunately these weren’t that comfortable as they kept bunching up behind the knee which hindered me bending my knee so I am having to return these also, I wish they did suit my frame as I love the jeans but I think I need a looser fitting fitting type of Jean which thankfully JTS offer as well, the belt I ordered is cool so I’ll keep that for my next pair of jeans from JTS, wish I lived closer so I could come and bankrupt myself at their store "

"Fit is lovely, very comfortable, armour is unobtrusive. Very heavy weight so not suitable for summer, imho. Haven't tested them on the bike but I think the quality says it all. I compared them another leading brand and they were a bit cheaper with free carriage and free returns which was ideal as I had to return the size I ordered and went up one size, which would appear to be what other people are saying."

"These jeans are a good fit if you buy the size larger than needed, hip armour is very snug if you don't, they are warm enough to ride in on cool days and are shower proof if caught out as I was. After my son saw them he purchased a pair."

"Just back from a ride to try new jeans out, on a sports bike which I normally find leathers uncomfortable, purchased JTS cool Ryder which is a game changer, from talking to the very helpful staff to ordering was a pleasure to do. To help with size, I normally wear a 34 in jeans in NEXT brand and a 36 in chinos but had to go for a 38 reg in this style of bike jeans, very comfortable and do make you feel safe. Easy to get on and off, also easier getting on bike, Normally a spin for a hour or so and that’s it but today could have gone for hours. Just want to say a big thank you to the JTS team, will be ordering again… 10/10 cheers."

"Purchased the cool Ryder jeans after stumbling on JTS while looking around. All reviews looked good so pulled the trigger. I have to say the jeans are spot on comfy and feel well made . I am a healthy 37" ISH waist so went for size 36" . Having some stretch made them a.good fit with some room to grow. The only thing I changed was the knee armour . Replaced it with D30 diablo .. nothing wrong with stock armour but I prefer thinner type. Service was great , so much so I also bought a pair of Manhattan boots. These are also great quality and very happy with purchase. For the boots and those with wider feet you may need to wear them in by getting wet to allow a little wiggle room. Great products JTS and I will definitely be back. "

"Super comfortable jeans. Great quality including the stitching. Love that they look and feel like normal jeans. It might just be my build and preference, but I got a 34" waste (I'm normally a 33" in jeans) and I felt like they were too tight on the crotch and waste to be comfortable riding. So I changed up for a 36" and tighten up with a belt. Worth mentioning for others unsure about fitment. Leg lengths were accurate though and I've got a nice turnup. Recommended! "

"Rode in these for the first time during a resent hot spell. They were really comfortable, the knee armour felt a bit tight but after a hour of riding it seemed to mould into my knee, will have to see how they feel after a few more rides but I think they with get even more comfortable and with the AAA rating there's nothing not to like"

"I spoke with the store on fitting as often sizes are not true. They told me to order both sizes and send back which I did not need. Size wise they were spot on and the 36 fitted perfect for me. Quality wise they feel good and the adjustable knee pad location is really useful in getting the protector in the ideal place as I have long things short lower legs. Used them twice now and they are comfortable with just enough stretch. Customer service very good will buy from them again"

"Bought these to replace some ageing cargo pants, which have definitely seen better days. Worn these jeans a few times now and love them. They fit well, good that the legs have a couple of differently placed pockets for the knee armour and overall I think I made the right choice for me. Its nice to find a company that realises that the world also has short legged people!"

"These jeans offer great value and top-rated protection. Please note that they are a stretch fit, so if you typically buy jeans in slim or comfort fit, you might want to go up a size. I usually wear a 36” waist and 34” length, but I had to size up to a 38” waist because they were too snug around my waist. The leg length is perfect and sits right over my boots. The jeans are extremely well-made, providing excellent protection for the hips and knees. They are very comfortable to wear while riding and even feel good off the bike when I'm just grabbing a coffee. I bought a pair for my son, and he loves them too. I will definitely buy again when I need new ones, but these look built to last!"

"Great fit - ordered my usual 32 Regular and sizing seems spot on compared to normal jeans. Looking in the mirror you wouldn't know they were motorcycle jeans. Only observation is that I've worn a belt with mine as the weight of the armour makes them feel like they are falling down a bit. Sturdy construction and AAA rating means really good for the price."

"These jeans fit well, I’ve got short inside leg so ordered the short, and they’re gathered when off the bike but, don’t ride up when on it. The texture and feel of the jeans is of good quality and they’re gathered look good too. Being able to adjust the pad position on the knees is handy and easy to do. All in all, a great comfortable and high quality pair of motorcycle jeans for the money. Have recommended before and would definitely buy again. "

"I bought the jeans after watching the online video. I ordered a size 38 waist not sure whether to go up a size due to jeans being lined. No need, they fit perfectly. They are good thick denim, the knee pads are easy to adjust and the stitching looks solid. There is a lining with the armour in it. I bought the jeans with a discount code as I signed up to the mailing list. They turned up within a couple of days and there were emails keeping me up to date with the delivery process. All in all I am pleased with the JTS experience, the jeans whilst not cheap look like they will last and do look stylish. I went for the black pair. "

I’m m a 29/30 leg and i bought the extra short, as the padded knees kept rising up with regular short leg, but these ones fit absolutely perfectly. comfortable to wear due to the elasticity, hard wearing and look great. removable protectors for washing and they have 2 different knee positions. well worth the money, and they wash well. Recommended."

"Just got a pair of these after ordering the wrong size (my fault), the exchange process was very fast and easy. The jeans look great quality and the fit is spot on. Not sure if its just my legs but knee pads never sit in the exact right place, with these i was able to reposition the pads very quickly and now they sit on my knee not my shin. All in all a fantastic product from a 1st class company, highly recommended. Oh yeah forgot to mention, for all the features and quality what a great price.."

"Wife bought these for me for Christmas,as did not want leather trousers.seen the Jts advert ,with you guys showing the Jean,so decided to have them .went out on my bike adjusted the knee protectors s,as when knees bent needed to pads to come up knee a little bit.Easy adjustment with velcro took couple of minutes,both knees done ,good all round jeans.very comfortable and kept legs warm ,considering it was cold yes good strong build ,well pleased with purchase."

"It can definitely be tricky to find gear that fits properly, especially when it comes to knee protection. When jeans are too long, knee armor often sits too low, which defeats the purpose of protection. But it’s great that these jeans are both comfortable and functional for your needs for those with a short leg. "

"I am pretty new to road bike equipment, as by default I am a MX rider, so I am 100% still learning about street bike wear and helmets etc. I have made some mistakes with purchases along the way, so have made a point of doing more research and reading of customer reviews before making any more spur of the moment purchases and as a result spotted these JTS Cool Ryder jeans. I am a shorter rider, so as JTS offer an extra short leg (which was a big bonus), I decided to give them a try. The jeans arrived in a couple of days despite the Xmas holiday, so 10/10 to JTS for getting these out so quickly. 1st impressions when I unwrapped them was the weight, as these seemed pretty heavy initially, but they come with the hip pads and knee guards already fitted (unlike some other brands) so the weight was understandable. Fit was spot on with just enough stretch and the material / quality of these jeans is top notch and I feel these are excellent value for money. I had previously tried another well known UK brand, but the fit of these for me, was nowhere as good as these JTS jeans. I am now considering a 2nd pair as 1 pair will never be enough for me. Thanks JTS, I will definitely be using you guys in the near future. "

"Despite ordering the wrong size, JTS excellent exchange policy kicked in and it was all sorted in 5 days, 2 of them being Saturday and Sunday. The jeans themselves are perfect and a good true to size fit. Very good quality and great armour. Great that you can adjust the knee armour+ or - 2 to 3 inches. I also like the water resistant denim and AAA rating. All in all a great purchase and excellent service from JTS ."

"I have been looking for another pair of motorcycle jeans for a while as after losing a bit of weight my current RST ones were getting a tad loose. I must have tried 20 different pairs on over the last few months at various gear shops and none felt right. I didn't really want to get them off the internet as the sizing can often be dubious. "These are my second pair of Jeans from JTS and I have to say they are brilliant. The fit is perfect for me at 5’ 10 30 inside leg . I normally wear 34/32 jeans but bought 36 reg . I have washed first pair Which was fine no shrinkage. I also have the JTS boots which are again very good worn them all day very comfortable. "Awesome. I bought these jeans to replace my leather jeans before heading to the TT. Really comfortable straight away. As I hadn’t had them before it was strange having hip protectors and kneepads, which were halfway down my shin but once adjusted the they are really comfortable. I spent six days in them riding three or four hours a day, on and off the bike several times and they were brill. "

"So far, so good. I have only worn them a couple of times, but don’t find restrictive at all. I ordered my exact size, despite some reviews saying to order a size up, but they fit all over. The legs don’t ride up over my boots when riding either. The armour isn’t uncomfortable, and being able to adjust the knee position means they sit over my knee when standing and on the bike. The material and finish feel really good quality, but not too hot. It’s rare to find AAA jeans with type 2 armour in this price range so, I suppose I was a bit sceptical about the quality, but they seem very good and I’m pleasantly surprised. Would recommend. "

"I took the risk of trying these, as they are mens jeans, but finding AAA rated ladies jeans at a competitive price is nigh on impossible. Well I'm so pleased I did, they fit great with padding positioned perfectly on the knees and hips. Being 5ft 2 I opted for the short length which are spot on. I did have to return my first order as they were a little too big in the waist. The returns service was a doddle and they were quickly replaced for the next size down. "These jeans are quite heavy due to double lining and you need to order 1 or 2 sizes up from normal fit jeans due to thickness of the lining. That said, they are good quality and JTS swapped and sent out larger size straight after a free postage return. Great customer service thanks, the new larger size now fits great."

I’m normally a 30 waist in jeans but ordered 32 and fit well. Some mentioned the knee padding to thick but it’s adjustable and give it time as they bed in with use. Highly recommended. "

"Service was brilliant took me a number of attempts to get the right size. I had to go up by 2 sizes to get the right fit. There free return and refund process was very good and very easy to uses. The returns process was also fault free. As far as the jeans go too early to say if they are any good, time will tell, but they seem to be very well made. i hope i will not need to put them to a full test as this would mean i have spent some time sliding down a road with out my bike! "I looked at/tried on quite a lot of other armoured jeans, but they either didn't offer the AAA rating or they fitted badly. Lots of armoured jeans don't offer a Short leg option, but with JTS offering Short legs and the option of free returns, I decided to try their jeans out. Perfect fit straight away, nice amount of stretch for swinging your leg over the bike, plus they have height-adjustable knee armour. Absolutely spot on. "I must say from first emailing to receiving my jeans what a great service I was speaking to a Joanne wright who was very helpful with my inquiries taking time to measure the jeans so I didn’t waste my time or there’s and thanks to her I ended up ordering and I’m glad I did I have really large calves about 18 inches and because of this most rider Jeans either don’t fit or are just to tight but these jeans although are a snug fit around that area the stretchy material make them comfortable they are the best jeans I’ve found so far for fit and comfort they look Like great quality and hopes are high for there durability but only time will tell I highly recommend you check them out big thumbs up from me "

"Great jeans, my second pair. Armour is a little bulky so advise going for the thinner level two armour on the knees. The thicker armour on the hips can make you look like a girl and a bit restrictive - so again thinner level two armour. My personal choice was to replace with Oxford’s thinner amour. D30 would also work fine. Slight waxy finish repells water - I know! Finally the knees have height adjustment. Take the time to move it around until you’re happy. Now go ride!"

"Excellent. I'm a 34-35 waist, 6ft 2 inch, bought the 36 waist. Fit is good. A little tight around the thigh area,even with the stretch facility. If the waist band was 1 inch higher and the thighs a little wider they would be perfect, and I mean perfect. Great comfort and give excellent feel and grip on the bike. It's nice to know they are AAA rated also. Will probably buy again. Great product!"

"I've been wearing these jeans for a couple of years now and I'm still so pleased with them. I'm 6'2" and with all the other jeans I've owned the knee pads were up beyond my knees, near my thigh. I got these jeans in an extra-long fit, so they fit over my boots, down to my feet when riding (no draughty gaps!), and the ability to adjust the knee pads and make them lower has made all the difference. They fit properly, look good, and provide protection in the knees which other jeans couldn't. I'm now getting a little older and a little wider, and will be getting these jeans again, just the next size up. ;)"

"Great summer jeans. Very comfortable. Cool in the heat, and provide enough weather protection on cooler rides. Smart enough to wear off the bike if you stop for lunch or refreshments etc. I sized up slightly so I could wear a base layer when it's cooler, there's enough stretch in the fabric for that. They're quite long, I got the short leg, and they fit over my RST Paragon 2 boots."

"Seemed good quality, material felt nice and they were a good stretch. However they didn't fit great on me, I'm 6ft7 160kg big guy, the calf's were a bit tight and the jeans were like an extra low rider, felt like a rapper from the 90s. I can't seem to find any jean company that scales the rise with the leg length and waist!"

"Outstanding product in every respect, combining protection, comfort and versatility in one garment. The stretch fabric not only allows freedom of movement but also an easy fit over riding boots. I got caught in a heavy rain shower on my second outing and can confirm that the water resistance does its job very well. Above all, you feel well protected riding with these thanks to the substantial armour and robust construction generally. Having read the reviews and after a conversation with JTS, I went a size up allowing for the hip pads and the fit is perfect with a belt. Good value for such a well designed, high quality product, available in a very large range of sizes (including hard to find big and/or tall)."

"Called before hand to ask about sizing. A nice , polite lady answered and advised me on the sizing. It fits perfect. I like that it is stretchy, it fits better around your body. It has hips and knee armours. Please spend sometime to adjust the placement. They are easily adjustable with strong Velcro for that perfect fit. Remember armour must be over your knees and hips. There is advice on the their web site for rain proofing and wash care. They fit me perfectly well, and I ordered my normal size 34. For the price it is very cool Ryder."

"I'm a recent convert to motorcycle jeans, been wearing cordura gear for years. I was pleasantly surprised (amazed in fact) as to how comfortable and light they feel on the bike. I feel they'll offer adequate protection when needed (no intention of trying this out!) and they look great when off the bike. The only "grip" I have is that no matter how I try to adjust the knee armour )and there's a fair bit of adjustment available) I just can't get the amour to sit actually over my knees, it's always towards the inside! Overall though I'm delighted with my jeans and as always the service from Joanne and the team at JTS was fantastic, thanks guys."

"great fitting jeans, very comfortable, feel very well made too, and look cool as. available in the shorter leg too which is awesome for the smaller rider. one negative, the water proofing is non existent, 1st ride home in the rain, not heavy either but was as wet as would be in normal jeans. maybe my pair forgot to be waterproofed so will wash with nikwax as recommended and see if any improvement. if i can come back at later date and comment on durability i will."

"Good fit (34" fitted a 35" waist); slim on the leg, look good off and on the bike and the quality gave confidence that they would give the necessary protection. Just back from a trip to Europe and they were worn every day. They withstood light showers without the need to resort to full waterproofs. I'd definitely recommend them."

"I have been using JTS for over 10 years. I have JTS 2 piece leathers, JTS full textiles and this is the second pair of JTS jeans I've bought from them. I'm 6ft 4 and 36 waist so got the 36 extra long as I've done with all my JTS gear. These are perfect on the waist with a bit of stretch for comfort. When on the bike the jeans sit perfectly covering my high top boots just below the ankle, so no leg showing. Extremely comfortable and a slimish fit so not flapping about in the wind. Adjustable knee pads a great touch. AAA protection for a great price and superb quality. Small or tall JTS have it covered and never disappoint. I would never shop anywhere else, thanks again. "

AAA RATING. I like the wicker lining and with having a short leg the ability to be able to adjust the knee protector by two inches by releasing the Velcro strips. Thanks JTS."
