"Plus points - Size. I'm 38" waist, 36" inside leg and bought the 40" X long. I'm amazed and grateful that the longest actually are long enough! It is possible that the 38" waist would be a better looking fit, but I hate anything tight while riding, the 40" is perfect for me. Also the high back is great, none of this skinny whippet waist rubbish! The leg bottoms are also great, with zips and velcro, I can have a neat fit over my boots. No flapping. There is a patch of leather sewn to the insides of the leg bottoms, presumably to stop wear, rubbing on bike parts. However, when wet, they can hold a lot of water and take an age to dry. I'll be applying some waterproofing there before the next trip. Waterproofing. Having spent the last week in Scotland, these trousers were WELL tested. Had 4 days of riding in occasional showery to moderate rain, probably around 8 hours in total rain, not a drop got through. However, on the journey home I hit a heavy thunderstorm, lasted 30 mins and I felt a bit of dampness in the crotch. Yet, when I took them off they didn't feel wet, so might have been water pooling in that area feeling cold. Not sure. Pockets - Brilliant! 2 deep leg pockets and 2 zipped side hand pockets, all I really need. Negative points - Armour placing. Despite me adjusting the knee position, the knee armour always ends up on the inside. Also, if you take out the warm liner, care has to be taken with the knee armour pocket velcro. If even a tiny part is not covered, you'll end up with a rash. Hip armour placing is also wrong for me, too low and not adjustable. May be just my body though, or the fact that I opted for the slightly larger waist size. I can't comment on the warm liner as have not used it yet, but looks very similar to other makes. Overall, I am very pleased with these, if the armour placement was better, it would be 5 stars. "

"Great jeans for shorter journeys. The protection pads are a bit tricky to get into the correct position but managed with a bit of fiddling around. Had to send my first order back because of the length and order a short which is unusual for me. Great service with speedy return and replacement. Overall excellent product and service."

I’m a size uk15 but gone for the EUR 50 (16uk) in these and they are good, but narrow in toe box (especially as advertised as a wide fitting) but they will probably loosen up a bit. Very easy on and easy off, look good and seem solid protection. "

"The waist was huge for me and are not what I'd say are high waisted, they sat the same place as regular jeans. They are a soft flexible material and generally comfy to wear, I find the velcro on the knee protector pockets scratch and are uncomfortable at times."

"I’ve bought these boots to be used as a pillion, not a rider. I have quite wide feet, these boots are adjustable through the lacing so work perfectly for me. They are on trend and look great. As yet untested for waterproofing. I have only given 4 stars as they need wearing in due to the height of the boot (like ski boots) and may have a tendency to rub at the back. "

"This is a great jacket, it looks amazing and fits true to size. I've been wearing this on my r1300gs, with the temp around 6c with just a t-shirt under it, and although it not warm, it's not cold. The style of the jacket makes it nice to wear out were ever you go. The only fault I have with it is, I wish they had used a full sleeve liner in it rather than a Gilet. That having been said this is still a fantastic jacket."

"Having long legs, I initially ordered the long fitting jeans. However on arrival and trying them on it was obvious that they were far too long and too big around the waist. I sent them back and ordered a standard leg length and a smaller waist size to replace them. Unfortunately although the replacement jeans were the correct leg length, the actual leg circumference was far too tight, especially around the knees. No adjustment of the knee protectors made the fit any better and so these also were returned and I await a full refund. "

"Pleased with the jacket. Does what it's supposed to do. The style isn't over-flashy. The collar is low which I'm not fond of. Arms are ok. The sizing though - like many other brands - is crazy. I had to get 5XL to get the right fit, even though my UK chest size is 46" or UK XL/XXL size at most. The trousers were similarly very large 48" waist even though I'm a 40/42" waist normally. I think the sizing is based on bangladesh/pakistan/Chinese physiques which may be smaller"

"The fit is excellent thanks to the leg length options and the armour pockets provide room to place the protectors in the right places. Like all armoured jeans they are slightly bulkier than fashion jeans, but still manage to look civilised off bike. "Worn only once up to now but I kept mostly dry. A bit damp near the front but I believe that was my fault so need to change that the next time. Then I will change to 5 star. Normally I wear size 22, I went with the recommended 26. It was a tiny bit tight but not uncomfortable. Just a shame that motorcycle sizes are so different to normal trouser sizes. What is great that trousers can be ordered in different lengths, that’s why I have several JTS trousers. It is an advantage. "

"I am only 31inch waste so i ordered 32 waste , the waste was fine but the rest of cut was to tight , so i replaced them with 34 inch waste and there ok with a belt on , they are good value for the money , i think a more generous cut would be be better."

"Had these for nearly a year now, they are true to size, hard wearing and wash well, JTS are great to deal with, I called into the shop while I was touring. Ended up getting a jacket as well. The extra long length is great for my legs as the jeans sit on my boots in a seated position. The only criticism I have is I would like them to sit a little higher on the waist especially at the back as they sit a little low."

Only downside them would be that if you have thighs that are on the thinker side then you may need to remove the hip slide pads even if you order the correct waist size and leg length for yourself. "Very nice thick material but not sure it's too water resistant but have not tested it fully, I have slim legs but they are a little tight so if you have thicker thighs and calves I'd go for the med fit rather than slim, also the waistband is slightly larger than the 36" purchased, having said this the quality is excellent, great styling, good colour as the black is true black and not grey like some, price is excellent based on many bike brands for the same quality, overall very happy with purchase "

They fitting is larger then needed but there is pull straps that make the waist smaller which is perfect.so its allowed for weight loss or gain ...really like the extra leather on legs for engine heat ..straps are a lightweight elastic so maybe increase the strength in those.. "I was fed up with some of the jackets I’ve had before. I recently purchased some textile pants which were very good, and followed the advice by some to get a size bigger. So looking at my budget, I was looking for a new summer jacket. My old one I’ve had for about 4 years but was never really happy, but it was in my price bracket. I’ve noticed that most jackets even normal winter jackets seem to be getting smaller, I know you’ll be thinking, no I’m just getting bigger but this is not the case. My textile jacket is a 2 xl, I’ve had for 10 years and fits perfectly even with the liner in. My recent purchase of a new winter one was a 4 xl. So this proves my point that a lot of gear now is actually smaller. So with this I purchased a new summer jacket. The jacket was very good with an excellent liner. It wasn’t a water proof liner but I’ve got over jackets for that. I did purchase a 4 xl. The jacket fitted very well around the shoulders and arms but was a bit bigger around the torso. That doesn’t bother me as I don’t like them to tight. The armour for shoulder and elbows are adequate and has ample room for a back protector. The pockets could have been a bit deeper. It has adjustable arm straps and a waist Velcro band. Im very pleased with my purchase. The mesh lining gives plenty of ventilation. My only issue is I wish they gave other options other that black. Overall a very good jacket for the price. "

Only criticism is sizing, because they are stretchy, the 42's I bought are easily big enough and I'm normally a 42-44, I'm sure I would have comfortably got away with a pair of 40's. These are very much "hipsters" with a low rise and short back. Great off the bike, it will be interesting to see how they feel on the bike. "Thought about a new pair of boots for a while as my Daytona’s have given up the ghost on the zip front and my other boots are just a wee bit too small to wear thick socks with. Been looking at these Boston boots for a while, read the reviews (mostly favourable) and finally jumped in as they were reduced in price to £100. Got to admit, didn’t expect much for this price bracket. Boots arrived quickly and well packaged (thank you JTS) and were admittedly a little stiff at first and quite thick so had to re adjust my approach to braking and gear changing but, within a few days they broke in well and the brake / gear change is now second nature. Whilst not been rain tested yet they are extremely comfortable and very warm, used in 3 degrees yesterday and feet still toasty. And, what’s more, can be used dual purpose (biking / walking) and, they look really good. I would not hesitate to highly recommend these boots and indeed JTS - now all I need to do is get the confidence to buy a pair of trousers from JTS without trying on first - the thing that made me worry about the boots although I need not have as they fit like the proverbial glove. "

"A potentially unusual review for these, but I had to drop back in and highly recommend these trousers for any woman looking for gear suitable for pregnancy. I had a holiday booked for this summer, which turned out to be at the end of my second trimester and spent a month trying to find suitable safety gear which would fit over a bump. After no luck on forums I ended up here based on a recommendation to a man who described himself as having a "pregnancy style beer gut". Well these aren't the most glamorous of trousers, but what they are is practical. The braces meant that they were secure even though the top of my bump was the largest measurement and the knee pads were well-adjustable (though could do with a more secure way to hold them in place as they had to be re-adjusted a few times). My only gripe really was the hip protectors which were not quite in the right spots but given the ask, that's not a big problem. They were comfortable both in >30Degree heat, and in a thunderstorm - and barely let any water through after an hour of torrential rain. Highly recommended."

The air vents on the sleeves seem a bit of a mad design because they are on the upper arm facing forward so above 30mph they gape open because of the wind. Loved the ability to adjust the height of the knee pads, so that their not halfway up ones thigh..I will definitely buy another pair... On the downside: The stitching at the bottom of the L/H front pocket gave way after just over one weeks wearing..I only found out, because my mobile slid down into my boot whilst out walking....Sadly, i didnt feel the 200Euros in notes & phone charging lead fall thru, so somebody in Gibraltar had a nice windfall...."

"I usually take a 56-58" chest in shirts and suits etc. I would normally have gone for a 60" chest in a bike jacket, to allow room for layers. However, after discussing sizing with JTS staff on the phone, I opted for the 8XL (58" chest). Even with the liner in, the jacket is comfortable and is plenty big enough. With the liner removed, it suits me better. Good pockets, decent zips and armour. And I can attest to the waterproofing, as first time out wearing it, I got a good soaking. The jacket did its job. As ever though, cuffs and collar did get a bit wet, but that was it. It will earn its spurs during the winter months, so perhaps this review is a little to early. So far though, very pleased. comfortable to wear and it looks good. Thanks JTS."

"I had ordered the Warrior jeans, but due to unavailability, I took the option to buy a pair of the Orlando jeans instead. When I first tried them on, it was one of the hottest days of the year and I struggled to get my legs down the (slim fit) leg holes!! My first thoughts were not good ones. However, once on, the stretch denim comes to the rescue and the jeans feel really comfortable. My worry that the apparent tightness of the slim fit legs would interfere with mobility, proved completely false. The jeans feel `light` to wear and I found moving, squatting, stretching and other movements that a man of my age should never attempt, really easy. The knee and hip armour feels good and perfectly positioned. I`m guessing that the jeans will `break in` over time and become even more comfortable. One word of caution though. My first ride out coincided with an unexpected rain shower. Water resistance was not in evidence and my shins and thighs got pretty wet, pretty quickly. That doesn`t bother me particularly, as I would usually wear waterproofs - and - unlike perhaps heavier denim jeans - these dried out within an hours or so. All in all, very pleased and thanks to JTS staff for helping me."

"I usually take a size 13 - 14 in most shoe/trainer sizes. So I bought the size 15 in these boots. The fit, so far, is really good. Very comfortable walking about off the bike. Easy to flex the ankle and move on the bike. First time I wore them, I got caught out by an unexpected rain shower, without my waterproofs. The foot part and sole of the boots themselves stayed dry, however, as the lower legs of my jeans got wet, the water seeped down inside the top edge of the boots, which wasn`t the best feeling (not the fault of the boots of course). So far, the zippers work fine (easy action) and the lacing seems pretty robust. I really like these boots, comfortable, easy wearing and, to me, they look great. Price wise, against similar looking boots from other suppliers, I think they stand up nicely."

"It's been a while since I was on a bike and just got back into riding (Life got in the way) and used JTS to kit out everything I needed I have loved the company for the speedy delivery. This helmet had the unexpected bonus that the internal visor goes down over my glasses, which I remember struggling with in the past. It's a matt black finish which looks super cool and overall am impressed with the helmet until I get on too long rides. After about an hour and a half to 2 hours, I have so much pain in the top right of my head that I must stop to take the helmet off. I am a size 64 (big meat head) and according to the size guide, this helmet should fit. Feels a little too small. I figured that the polystyrene material in the helmet would eventually mould to the shape of my head, but it has not so far. Overall the helmet is a decent construction, visibility is good and it looks really cool. "

"Most comfortable pair of boots more comfortable than my magnums. These are easy to walk in but still remain stiff if you know what I mean. They don't need much to break in either and they perform well in the wet but yet to test them in the snow. Lots of grip on the bottom and a very smart looking boot. "The jeans themselves are good quality, I’ll just echo what others have said my wishing they were higher at the back. Also I went for the regular leg (mine is 32” and I’m 5” 7”) and they were too long by a good 2 inches, even with boots on they drag on the floor. I’m also going to say despite the knee pads being adjustable, they still sit a bit too low. I guess I should have sent them back for the shorter ones so that’s my fault. Just be aware of the length you order. Other than that, the fabric is good quality and has a good amount of stretch in it"

"Hello JTS,this is more of an observation after use rather than being derogatory,I purchased the Tourmax Evo trousers some weeks ago and have worn them about half a dozen times.Comfortable and definitely waterproof,but,there seems to be a lot of excess material around the bottom of the trouser legs which makes it really awkward to get your feet through, once you have though it seems to settle down into the correct position. The only other observation is: get your suppliers to put stronger elastic on the built in bracers as it is not strong enough to hold the trousers up.Otherwise they are good value and well made trousers."

"As a larger lady (usually a size 16/18 in regular jeans) finding motorcycling clothing to fit is, at best challenging, and often very frustrating. The measurments for these trousers were really helpful in allowing me to choose a size and I purchased these in a 22. The fit well, with or without the liner, the knee armour is never in quite the right position for me, so that always comes out no matter what, however I usually have to remove the hip armour too, but not so with these trousers. They are comfortable to wear all day, they aren't too hot, I've not been able to fully test their waterproofness in a downpour but certainly they were showerproof. They do ride up a little so I wish I'd gone for the slightly longer leg variant but the waist is adjustable as are the legs around the ankles and the zips all seem strong and secure. I would have given them 5 stars, however the one area they do slightly fall down in is the gusset area, they are a little restrictive as a rider, if I was just pillion they'd be fine, but trying to swing a leg over is a little challenging, you have to do a hitch in the leg, which doesn't help the riding up - long boots and socks will help with the resulting draught, but a little bit of extra room or a stretch panel would have been better - but I guess I can't complain too much as they'd have been more expensive. Overall a good buy, I would recommend and if you're a larger lady, they fit about 2/3 sizes up."

"Overall - Unbeatable bang for your buck The good: - Fantastic price, especially for tall sizing needs - Flexible armour included and customisable fitment - Understated & simple design without logos everywhere The bad: - Waist fitting a bit small, order at least 1 size up - Some stitching around velcro poor - Vents on legs quite small Purchased late March and used for around 400 miles. Not rain tested. Trousers come with JTS flexible hip and knee armour, the pockets where the armour goes has multiple velcro pieces to adjust where the armour sits. On my pair there was a fair amount of loose threads on these inside velcro strips which needed tidied up. Recommend wearing some kind of base layer or the velcro areas will irritate and scratch on knees. Fully lined with thermals which are easily removed with zip and button fixtures. Haven't needed to use these yet, the trousers have been plenty warm enough in 8C plus without the liner. Waist is adjustable with Velcro straps. Trousers close via 2 poppers. 1 vent on outside of each leg. These vents seem small and are positioned in a strange place, unsure how well these will perform yet. Sizing I found slightly small, would recommend ordering 1 size up at least. I own JTS leather trousers with a 36" waist which fit great. 36" on these trousers would barely close and would have been unusable sitting on a bike. Returned and exchanged easily for 38", still snug but acceptable. Can wear another pair of thin trousers underneath for the commute, but can't fit a belt. I'm 6ft5", the X long leg is great. Don't know of any other kit manufacturer that can do this kind of size for these prices. Trousers come provided with a short closure zip for a jacket. The full zip is present so one half can be removed and sewed on to your existing jacket. I have these trousers paired with an RST GT CE Jacket. Overall an excellent piece of kit for the price point. These are a fantastic daily ride trouser with plenty of comfort, protection and warmth to keep you happy."

Love the blue on the arms and back and there are loads of useful pockets inside and out . Padded liner that can be taken in and out dependent on the weather . "The boots are good for me as I have very wide feet (beyond a H width) and was recommended to try these. I am please to say they fit me. "Managed to order the right size based on the chart. The jeans is very light, not as weighty as a real denim usually is. Stretching, comfortable to wear. The knee armour pockets are too forward, there isn't any protection the lateral side of the knees. So I don't know how effective they are when side fell or slip. The pockets are working by velcro, move the armour up or down on the knee. I found the hip armour pocket a bit narrow and short. But it probably designed for D3O armours (I use foam one). 5 pockets just describe, typical jeans pocket. Quite roomy a tyally. Waist is high enough. I would say it isn't water-repellent, especially not when you are riding, the fabric is pressed to your skin let the water goes through. I 'll try to use spray. I like the colour, just as picture shows. The leg opening is quite fit for all of my shoes and boots, covers them nicely. "

"I needed something comfy to wear whilst riding pillion with my partner and, being completely new to being on a bike, felt a little lost trying to find something comfortable that didn’t break the bank. These certainly met my expectations! I am 5”8 and size 14 normally, but after reading the reviews I ordered a size smaller. Surprisingly, they were still baggy on the waist and so I optimistically placed a second order for the next size down - very flattered to discover that I actually fit into the size 10 comfortably but there is definitely something a bit off with the sizing here, they’re very generous as everyone has said! I usually struggle with finding the right length in jeans but the regular length was perfect. I’m also a fan of the adjustable knee armour which meant I was able to lift the protection to sit higher up and more comfortably. My only comment would be that there is, as other people have mentioned, some excess fabric to the waistband - this isn’t a huge problem as I can just wear a belt. I thought it might have just been a problem with the size I’d ordered, but having tried two different sizes I realised it was just a manufacturing thing! I would also mention that they are not as slim fitting around the ankle as I had expected, but they’re able to fit comfortably into my boots, and still look slim and stylish when tucked in. JTS delivered incredibly fast, and were very speedy and efficient in resolving an error with the courier too. Great product and excellent customer service. I look forward to testing my new jeans out on the bike very soon."

"I have to say that this is a beautiful retro heavy leather bike jacket. It really looks the part, it is well made and it has armoured shoulders and elbows included. Remove the armour (or not) and this could be used as a fashion jacket easily. It was a real shame then when it didn't fit and there wasn't one in my size available. I would suggest an 'XL' or two above your normal sizing to ensure it fits and you don't end up broken hearted like me!"

"So...these jeans are good! They feel tough with nice detail like the little button flap pocket and red stitching. I particularly wanted stretch for comfort which these have and the legs are wide enough to go over my bike boots. The reason I've given 4 stars not 5 is because they are slightly gappy on the back of waist but on the bike it's fine so not a big issue. Be advised that there are pockets for knee and hip pads but these are not supplied, I have some so again not an issue. JTS were brilliant when I chased up my order with a quick and friendly response. "These are not as fancy as some trousers I've tried but that is reflected in the bargain price. Sizing seems to be the biggest issue with textile trousers but these are pretty good. I'm a W30 L30 in normal jeans and W28 Regular in these are just a wee bit snug at the waist (W28 or W40 is all that was available) and ideal length when sat on the bike. The knee protection positioning is not great. They seem cosy enough but no test of their waterproof quality yet. If the JTS Explorer Evo had been available in my size I would have gone with those - elastic at the waist and better knee armour with adjustable positioning - but they weren't. Overall, at £69.99, these are good value."

It cost me £15 for delivery by parcel force. I had to pay for return, again by parcelforce but cost me £3. When parcel arrived back customer serviced wanted another £15 for re-delivery. I have cancelled the order because it would have then cost me £33 in postage for something that's delivered free elsewhere. "

"Got these yesterday after ordering them online (size 42/8) and I would seriously recommend them to anyone looking into a light weight but very sturdy boot! With huge support around the ankle and a hardened toe area of shifting these are stylish and work a dream! Only problem I have has with these is I’m a size 8 (uk) and so a size 42 when ordering these they did turn out a touch too big around my toes maybe 3-5cm extra after my toes how ever I wouldn’t recommend you buy a size down as you will never notice it when riding! But apart from that very stylish and cool boot 100% going to get the mrs a pair when she gets her license after winter! "

"A nice quality pair of jeans with thick but soft leather that needs no breaking in. I looked at a lot and these were the best I could find. Not quite perfect though. They are a bit bigger than the stated 30 (more like normal 32 jeans) despite what JTS said. I added a belt and its nice to have a bit more space for the armor. The legs are very long too. This has a couple of consequences: Despite the adjustment I couldn't get the knee armor in the right place. I removed the knee pockets and fixed the pads with sticky-backed Velcro. Works well. Also, if you cut more than a couple of inches off the length the seams tend to fray so you need to add a few stitches to stop this."

"Good fit as expected to size ordered (24 short) and length spot on for my short legs. Have proved themselves shower proof on a recent trip. Not sure if the shower proffing wears off when they are washed though. Knee pads need moving aroumd until in right place, but they are not uncomfortable like some I have. Didn't purchae hip pads as took some made to measure ones from an old pair of trousers I had. This is my 2nd pair, I wear with leggins under when a bit chilly, by they were purchased for Hot Uk and riding abroad. They are comfortable and not hot and sticky when warm like some of these Kevlar jeans are. Rated 4 star as always feel there is room for improvement. Could do with hight waist at back to give a little support, especially when riding all day. But over all OK pair of Jeans for a reasonable price. "

"Worn for around 6 hours of riding, size 11 fits exactly as advertised. I'm 6,3", slim, standard size 11. I've always worn 2 pairs of socks whilst riding as it's been consistently between 1 and 3 degrees, but so far fit perfectly fine, no pains or rubbing. No water has been let in so far and my feet have stayed at a perfectly reasonable temperature for riding. Boots feel tough and ankle protection seems good for the price. There is also increased toe protection which will help with wear whilst changing gears hundreds of times a day. Well built, perfectly happy."

"I've worn these for around 6 hours of riding now (lessons). The two sessions I have used these gloves for have been on road riding for 3 hours and Mod 1 training for 3 hours, both hovering between 1 and 3 degrees. "At 5'1 it is quite difficult to find any textile trousers where the kneepads land in the right place. I have worn these a few times now an each time the weather has been awful; the trousers, though, have been great! Always bone dry, no water up the leg when splashing through the puddles and the braces on my pair are great. They fit fairly tight for the size but the length is great. The hip pads are very thin, the knee pads arent too bad and both can be changed for thicker ones if you desire (D30 for the win). Would recommend these to anyone, funny shape or otherwise. "Good value at the price. Badly-stitched button-hole at the waist; jeans immediately replaced by JTS. Good service. The knitted Kevlar seems rather thin but it's supposed to pretty near rip-proof. Very useful feature is adjustable position of the knee-pads. Previous experience suggests most bike-clothing manufacturers think our knees are four inches north of where they really are. Sizing, as JTS suggest, is generous. No need to buy a bigger size than you normally take."

"Not had a chance to wear them in anger yet, but they look and feel a really good piece of kit. Recommend trying them on for fit if you can as these come up small by UK measurements. My waist normally is 32 or 34 inch depending on the brand (Levis, Fatface etc.) But I had to swallow my pride and accept I'm a JTS 36! This applies to jackets too, my 42 inch chest fitted an extra large textile jacket. Like I said try them out or speak to one of the very helpful members of staff. Viper pants have double popper fastening at the waist and do not burst open like the single popper fastening ones do. For those who are thinking that I'm grossly mishapen I'm 5ft 7inches tall, 11 stone 7lbs and 34inch measured waist (36 inch round the belly!) Ride safe."

"Ordered a 10 and a 12 as was unsure which size would fit. Strangely the 12 came up a smaller fit than the 10! I kept the 12 and have since put them to the test on a 5 hour round trip in the winter. Luckily I wasn’t subjected to rain so as yet can’t comment on how waterproof they are although they look well made and the label states 100% waterproof. With my jeans and other layers underneath I was snug as a bug. Ive got long legs and struggle finding trousers with a decent length but the long legs in these are perfect. So far, so good!"

I have very wide feet and struggled to get them on and off but once I got the boots on, it felt very comfortable. The trick is to use a shoe horn until the leather stretches. "Ordered the jeans on line in my usual size and the extra short leg length. They were too big in the waist and still about 4 inches too long. I returned them to the store so i could try on some of the other jeans. It was easier than returning by post and re-ordering something else that may not be right. I tried on the size smaller in the extra short and they were perfect!! Not sure why the leg length was so different but so happy I went to the store. The staff in store were so helpful and exchanged them for me so it was hassle free. Downside for me was I ended buying a new jacket at the same time which i didn't intend on doing. "I love the stretch in them as I struggle to find jeans that fit my thighs and calves without being 4 numbers too big in the waist. If you are in good shape and big. These are a perfect fit. The only reason for not getting 5 stars is that the mesh is a bit flimsy and can rip a little when taking them off. But not serious problem if you are just careful. And the knee protector could be better and Id like a hip protector. I would be happy to pay a bit more and get those upgrades with it. Other than that. They are 100% recomendable and perfect for commuting to work. Not too hot to ride in for a long perion either. And very comfy."

"These jeans are made of very heavy duty denim which, with the additional strength of Kevlar patches, give confidence that they would offer decent protection in the event of an accident. The size selected was the same as for other trousers and this proved fine for the waist, but around three inches too long in the leg, requiring a turnup. Perhaps because of the long length on a ‘regular’ size, the knee pads feel on the low side and the means of adjusting them higher is rather crude. Additional ‘pouches’ for the knee armour would have been helpful."

"I bought these waterproof trousers in May 2017 and they have been brilliant in the cold and wet, they are so warm even in below temperatures I don't have to wear anything apart from underwear underneath them, the only problem I have is the lining sticks out the bottom of the waterproof trousers and gets soaking wet when its raining, ive tried pulling the lining up before I go out but it seems to wriggle back down."

"Seem a pretty good pair of trousers, I have been wearing them for the last couple of weeks commuting into work (about 25 miles each way) two comments I would make are (1 ) in the warmer weather these will get very warm, they could either do with more vents or if JTS could do a Jean or light weight summer trouser it would be good. (2) the waist band is secured by two poppers at the front, these are not strong enough and pop undone as you move around despite being loose on the waist, a belt or simular would be great."

"This is a well made garment. Stitching is good with no significant errors. Leather is excellent quality. Lining is well made. Studs are good strong quality (and spares are provided). The fit is correct for chest and waist. However, although I am a 46" chest, I am not built like a tank :-). As such the garment was too wide across the shoulders (I looked a bit like Joan Collins from Dynasty - but with less hair ;-). It is also cut almost square across the shoulders so I had to make a modification. I removed the welts, cut 1.25" off each side, shaped into the armholes and restitched the welt. It fits much better now! I had researched for some time before making this purchase and this product most closely met my needs. I chose JTS because they are an established motorcycle clothing supplier, based in a retail outlet in the UK and have an excellent reputation. I was impressed with their website, the order process, despatch and delivery. No problems anywhere."

"Yup, as others have said. Look like decent street jeans - a good thing. Protection seems correct in theory and positioned properly. Stretch is a real bonus for comfort, and allows leeway in sizing (I'm usually a 32 short, and the 30 short fits very well. Others have commented on needing higher waist at the back. I sort of agree but really the issue is almost too much stretch in the material in the waistband: I'm keeping in place using quite robust belt. With that work-around, I'm happy to recommend. Service great: friendly, efficient, will use again."

"Trousers are ultra comfy and the non slip pad is excellent as it stops you slipping forward under braking. The air vents don't really do a lot but I guess that is down to having a big fairing on my bike. Thermal lning is very warm, too warm at times but easy to remove. The only negative is that the press stud comes undone and I cannot see a way of stopping this from happening. Other than that, cannot fault them at all."

"I bought these for a 2500 tour of Europe and have used for commuting for another circa 2000 miles and they performed very well. Rode for a full day in the rain and they remained waterproof and my legs bone dry - result!, I also rode for many days in 30 deg heat and although hot I don't think any protective/waterproof trousers could have done much better. The armour seems robust, quite easy to adjust, although the fastener which keeps it in place could do with being a little bit more robust. I like the coverage of the hip armour as it extends down the thigh, but is not bulky and does not get in the way. The vents are quite small and do not seem to make a great deal of difference whether open or not. I love the fact that you can get them in a range of lengths, great for a tall rider like me. I have finally found a pair of trousers which dont ride up! All in all seem like great value for money and are holding up well. Would buy again."

"Great quality leathers, fit is pretty much spot on and very comfy. I'm a 34" leg and ordered 34" and they fit well...maybe a half inch too long but no biggy. The only small gripe I have is that the connecting zip wasn't an exact match to my furygan jacket, the trouser zip was slightly coarser than the jacket one.....but managed to swap the zip pull over and after a half an hour trying got it to zip okay. But all in all definitely worth every penny."

My only observation was they are not as high waisted as I expected, I would say more mid waist. I would have preferred a little bit wider legs around calf area, as I do have sturdy calves. That aside there is a lot of stretch on these and they are comfortable around the knee area when riding. I would say order your normal Jean size and you should be ok. Lovely soft denim as well."

"Very impressed by the quality of this pair of touring trousers, the leather is thick yet supple and the make is really showing quality. I like the cut and finishings like the stitching and leather treatment. I ordered my size as for jeans ie UK10 for a waist mesurement of 77cm (between 29 and 30 inches) and they were spot on, unfortunately having particularly slim legs, I had to return them because they were baggy and folding too much for my personal riding comfort, even with my hips protectors fitted in, but i was very disappointed not to be able to keep them. Note that regular leg length is generous which is a bonus if your boots are not very high. Totally recommend it. Customer service was very nice when i was undecided between two sizes, they came back to me with the waist and hips mesurement for each size from the garment itself."

"I wear a regular size 10 normally and these fit well in a 10 s . The only downside is that the waist is not cut really for a female shape. I use a belt but will likely alter the waist as too much has to be pulled in for me. The legs fit well and the general shape of the jean is very flattering. They are not as heavy as other jeans I have worn which is a plus for me. I have rode nearly 400 miles wearing them and they were very comfortable, they allow plenty of movement whilst still maintaining shape and feel comfy over long periods of time."

The jeans also come up a bit on the long side despite ordering a short size but I've quickly found that this compensates for the jeans riding up your legs when you're on the bike so happy to live with the extra length! Not so good: The adjustment for the knee armour in the XS size has plenty of downward adjustment but needs another 1 or 2 inches of upward adjustment to clear my knee cap, this means the armour rubs against my knee when walking which is uncomfortable. "The jeans are a very sturdy quality with reinforced kevlar where you need it. The knee pads are standard protection and very handy in that the position can be altered to fit. The only down side for me is that they are very baggy. I got my usual size, I couldn't go any smaller as the waist wouldn't fit me, and they are very loose around the legs and have a boot cut finish, so flap in the wind around my ankles. A velcro fixing on the ankle would be an easy solution. I would recommend this product."

"I am 182cm and 59kg - some would say I am blessed, I say try buying trousers that fit! The Bella Kevlar Jeans come pretty close though. The great customer service recommended I go one size down as these are very stretchy and I am very happy I did. The length is nearly perfect - I usually buy 34-36 inch length jeans and these are more like 33inch. The knee pads can be moved inside to ensure the right protection which is great. The only problem I have is the waist is quite wide even on size 28. Nothing that cannot be sorted with a belt though. Overall, a great investment."

"They are waterproof as I've rode them in heavy weather a few times now. The pockets of the pads are slightly thin and may not last as long as the jeans themselves. They are a size short, I'm 36" waist but ordered 34" and they fit me perfectly. They're an excellent material of jeans as they're stretchy and I'll definitely be ordering another pair when pay day comes around again. They look like normal jeans too which is a plus as don't want to be changing every time I go to the office."

"I am a sport motorbike driver in France (driving on the road a ZX10R Ninja), and was looking for a Kevlar jean, so I selected and ordered this one. I got it yesterday, and try it : I have taken my size, and it is a little bit too high, but as I often wear something below my pants, it will be perfect. I could adapt the height of the protectot knee, and it is fine. So, just need now to ride, when the weather will be better ! About the delivery for some others countries (other than UK) : if I can recommand to use another provider for the delivery than Chronopost International (partner of DPD) : with Chronopost, I got my jean with a delay of 24 hours, and I paid more to get it at home. I stayed at home and waited the delivery... the guy did not come, and let it at the post office, 7 km far away from my home....and if I want to complain to Chronopost, I have no choice than writing a letter... instead of email, or a call... too long process which dissuades."

"These trousers are a good comfortable fit. I am 34" inside leg so went for the Extra Long size, probably a little bit too long but its fine as when riding my boots stay covered - in the past my trousers have tended to lift above the boot!!!! Went out for the first time in the pouring rain yesterday and they seemed fine, the only thing that got a bit wet was my bottom were the seat was getting soaked, my commute was 40 minutes and it rained the whole time."

"Solid pair of trousers and certainly good enough for my 'non-aggressive', 'avoid the boundaries' style of riding while keeping the IAM satisfied for wearing more than my usual casual trousers. (Why don't they make good looking 'safe' casual trousers but which do not look like 'denims' or leathers.. the sort you can walk into a restaurant in ??? ) But while the knee padding looks OK when on the bike, when standing up it is 'low' and I would expect it to be too low when sliding along the tarmac. Despite ordering 'regular' length and being a standard build, using a 31 leg, we had to turn up 50 mm from the legs. Overall 4 stars and happy"

"REVIEW MK2. After previously reviewing this jacket with a slightly jaded view, I thought I would update everyone on the relevant situation. I made contact with the nice folk at JTS who told me to return the jacket to them as they thought it was a rare fault and the reason why it was not waterproof (I should have done this before the review I know). Anyway upon inspection JTS confirmed that the jacket was at fault and quickly sent out a new replacement jacket. I can now confirm that the new replacement is 100% waterproof and no matter how wet the outer shell was I was dry on the inside thanks to the numerous soakings from the lovely Cumbrian weather! To me is vital to have a jacket that keeps me dry as I commute all seasons and during the winter months if you get soaked to the skin it can be rather dangerous experiance as it becomes a hard task to keep your concentration whilst freezing and when the wind chill is extreme! Oh and the dayglow green hi-visibility front arms of the jacket certainly helps in getting you noticed by the normally oblivious drivers, not to mention the bright hi-visibility helmet I use. Safe driving to you all."

"The Jacket arrived quickly and well packaged. The jacket is good quality and has an excellent dual layer system. The sizing was spot on, however the jacket was a little short. This is down to the cut rather than sizing. As I'll use the jacket as a summer option without lining I'm sure it will be fine when seated on the bike. "First pair of riding jeans I've owned and they are very comfortable and size fitted perfectly. The only niggle I have is the Velcro on the armour pockets within the legs rub agains my shin, which has taken some skin off!! However, it's nothing a bit of gaffa tape and a pair of long socks won't sort out;) Well made with strong stitching where you need it most. Great colour, deep pockets so don't have to worry about stuff falling out while riding. Style is ok, and not that I'm a style icon or anything, but could do with them not being so baggy on the legs, but that's just my personal opinion. Good value for money."

"The trousers are excellent. Great fit but require a little stretching to feel comfortable. The short size is a good fit for my 169 cm tall figure. However, I cannot give it 5* because of the sizing info. This size 24 corresponds to the standard UK dress size 18-20 and info on the website was not helpful. I ordered size 22 that was too small and had to return it. Then I had to pay £10 for shipping and order a bigger size. It was delivered and the wrong size picked up from our house. It was convenient but I never got the shipping charges reimbursed. The cost of the wrong size item was reimbursed pretty swiftly by the seller."

"Bought these gloves today as sounded perfect for summer riding. After leaving shop the heavens opened and drenched me for next 20 or so miles. I can confirm that they kept my hands dry. Would have given 5 stars but have found that when taking on and off the lining moves and you have to wiggle it about to put gloves back on. Hopefully they will remain waterproof."

"I have owned 5 of these jackets in all the colours except red, leather motorcycle trousers as well as other jackets from JTS range in various colours, and a couple of different sizes as my weight has gone up and down. Firstly want to thank JTS for providing motorcycle clothing that caters for the larger person. For someone who has above average waistline with short legs and is male it's not easy to find general clothing let alone motorcycle clothing, so JTS thank you for producing items to meet my motorcycling needs. The Tony jacket including all the jackets I have owned I have been very pleased with, would suggest some kind of additional inner waterproof flap where zip is, any minor water ingress seems to come from that location. I also had an off a few years back wearing a Tony jacket and a pair of the leather trousers. Slid down road for 20 metres or so... I had a few bruises but the clothing did its job protecting me. It survived only minor damage to jacket and scuff mark on the leather trousers. The reason only 4 stars, it's probably a bit of an ask, but slightly shorter arms (or maybe adjustable length arms) would be welcome. And possible a shorter version of the jacket. I will be buying another Tony jacket next week."

"I bought this jacket as I was looking for new one to replace my old shorter Belstaff jacket that I had been using for many years. I liked the look of the 'Urban' style and the the fit felt good too. It has quite a high spec finish compared to similarly priced jackets from other makes and I looked at some which were almost twice the price. Having used it now for a month the only gripe I have is that it is not as warm as I had hoped and certainly not as warm as my old jacket. That said, it has performed well in all other aspects including keeping me dry in a good downpour. "
