Notes:
There are four tests that are mandatory for testing and each boot will have a rating for each of these sections. So if the inner label reads: 2 2 2 2 - then the boot is an overall level 2 rating, which is the highest level of protection. If the label reads 1 2 2 2 - then the overall rating will be a level 1 but the only reason, will be due to the height of the boot. These are the tests these ratings refer to:
- Height of Upper
- Impact abrasion resistance of the upper
- Impact cut resistance of the upper
- Transverse rigidity of the whole footwear

"I usually have to choose a size 45 due to the width of my feet, but with these wide-fit boots I could take a 44, which is my true foot size. In fact, I did try a 45 in regular, but struggled to get them on due to my high instep. So, these size 44 wide-fit boots solved both problems. "The reason I purchased these boots was because I was looking for a wider fit. These are not wide fit boots sadly and it is difficult to get your actual foot in. These boots are narrower than my Sidi boots that I am currently wearing. JTS if you got the design of these boots right (wider fit which allow the toes to spread) you would honestly sell a lot more. I will say that the boots looked and felt like they are very well"...read more

"I had no intention of buying these boots in a size 52 on the day at all as at the time I hadn't done my CBT or had a scooter / bike to sit on however...... I take a UK shoe size of 18 (yes I know). I have never been in any store and bought foot wear to fit me since I outgrew my size 13 hush puppies 50 years ago!! Tried these on and in all honesty they are a bit of a squeeze but that's my problem not the boots."...read more
