"A bit disappointed in these jeans, they are only AAA on the knees and the arse (and only just), I think they should be sold as AA jeans as there is only minimal protection and nothing down the outside of the legs. I was given the impression they were AAA all over with extra protection in two important places but when I read the small print they are just ordinary stretch jeans with a small patch of reinforcement material in them. I usually take a 34xl jean but these are on the large size so I got a 32xl but now I have worn them a couple of times I think I should have got size 30xl. However I must say the staff at JTS were very helpful and swapped jeans over quickly. "

"Hey Mick. Thank you for the review an the team appreciate the kin d words. They have been CE approved for AAA, we have the certification for this which we are more than happy to provide. These are sold as Single Layer Jeans as they are made from a single layer of Codura Denim. This is a very touch fabric used in lots of protective gear. The high impact areas of these jeans have two layers of this denim and also have triple stretching which gives them the rating they have. In regard to the sizing, these do come up a bit larger as they don't have extra layers like our original AAA jeans. We are happy for you to get in contact with us about this :)"

"Thank you for your feedback Bryan. As these are the same pattern as the layered Cool Ryder, but are single layer, they are coming up a generous fit. Some people are going for a size smaller, or normal size for a relaxed fit. But definitely don’t size up 👍"
