Alpinestars Stella Andes Air Drystar® Jacket – Versatile Protection for Dual-Season Touring
The Alpinestars Stella Andes Air Drystar® Jacket is designed specifically for female riders who demand both protection and comfort in varying weather conditions. Anatomically optimized for a women-specific fit, this jacket delivers superior airflow and ventilation in warm weather while also being equipped to tackle cooler and wet conditions, making it the ideal choice for dual-season touring.
Engineered with a road-oriented fit, the jacket features a reduced length, a contoured bottom edge, and pre-shaped arms to enhance rider comfort and reduce fatigue, especially on long rides. The extensive use of 2D mesh panels on the chest, inner arms, and back ensures maximum ventilation during hot-weather riding, keeping you cool and comfortable.
For rainy and cooler conditions, the jacket comes with a 100% waterproof and breathable, detachable Drystar® membrane, which can be worn over or under the jacket depending on the weather. This adaptability makes the Stella Andes Air Drystar® Jacket perfect for unpredictable climates, allowing you to easily adjust for optimal comfort and protection.
Constructed from a durable poly-fabric chassis with ripstop reinforcements on the shoulders, elbows, and forearms, this jacket provides excellent abrasion resistance in critical areas. The addition of a storm collar prevents water ingress, ensuring that you stay dry during wet rides. The jacket also includes a variety of adjustment options on the biceps, forearms, cuffs, and waist for a customized fit.
Practicality is another key feature, with a lower back storage pouch for convenient access to essentials, a waterproof compartment for secure storage, and an internal pocket to protect valuables. A fixed mesh liner includes a 3/4 zippered waist connector, allowing for quick and easy attachment to Alpinestars riding pants for a full touring setup.
When it comes to protection, the jacket is equipped with Nucleon Flex Plus Level 1 armor on the shoulders and elbows for impact protection. The chest and back protector pockets are designed to accept optional Alpinestars Nucleon armor upgrades. Additionally, the jacket is Tech-Air® Ready for integration with Alpinestars' Tech-Air® 5 or Tech-Air® 3 airbag systems, offering an extra layer of cutting-edge safety technology.
