"I have only had these boots for a few days, so I can't give a full review, but will try to update after a month. At first glance, they seem of very high quality. I have very wide feet and struggled to get them on and off but once I got the boots on, it felt very comfortable. The trick is to use a shoe horn until the leather stretches. So far I like these boots."

"Brilliant. Why do most boot makers think bikers have ballerina feet? These are the first boots I've bought in 50 years that fitted straight out of the box. My feet aren't particularly wide but bike boots in my normal shoe size (and the size above) are always too tight. Go two sizes up and they are far too long in the foot. My normal shoe size is 43 and I went for the JTS Aqua 44 Wide Fit which were a perfectly comfortable fit. If they are durable enough for a few years of 10,000-mile annual riding, they represent an extraordinary bargain at 80 quid. I prefer them to my previous boots at more than three times the price. What a rip-off they were. One minor gripe - I prefer a taller boot but there's not much chance of finding a longer style in a wide fit without paying stacks more cash for made-to-measure, as far as I can tell. Excellent piece of kit - JTS highly recommended. Good value if they last."

"Stiff leather and despite being a size 14 (EU 48) a tight fit to get them on and off.The gear shift panel has some sort of shiny plastic in it and makes the boot slip off gear shifter. Not very impressed, another make I won't be buying again!"

The length is as it should be but the width is the same as the next size up so the size 14 you tried would have been as wide as a size 15. These can be a little stiff when you first try them but they do ease up with wear. We're sorry that you found the shift pad unsuitable. There is thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) on the shift pad which is designed to resist oil, grease and abrasion. The way it is moulded is intended to help grip and be hard wearing, not to slip in anyway."

"great boots for the money, descibed as waterproof and they are.been out in some real drenchers and feet stayed dry and warm,if your a normal fit i would go for extra wide."

"Very pleased with these Aqua wide fit, they look good and have just the right amount of room for my size 91/2 to 10 feet (i ordered 44) my last boots that I bought in a shop here were tight and I thought that they'd give but even after an excrutiating 2650kms in 6 days around Spain my bunion was complaining a lot and I ended up throwing them away :-( Anyone with similar problems or feet that you can water ski on, get these :-) They were just over half the price of the others (well known make with a cat on) Thanks, will recommend."

"Had a pair of last years version of these, but in a non-wide fit. These are so much more comfortable.... I've been out in fairly heavy rain on my usual commute to work, and have been waterproof so far. Brilliant value!"

"I bought these as they were the only boots in this price range advertised as wide fit. I went for a size 47 which is a size up from my normal shoe size. Out of the box, the boots were very tight across the front and I was considering sending them back for the next size up. However, after a half hour or so of walking around in them they soon started to give a bit and are feeling great now. First ride was a 20 mile in VERY heavy rain, so put the waterproof claim to the test. Happy to report dry feet:-) Changing gear was at first hit and miss as the toe area of the boot is higher than my old pair. Soon got used to this though. Given five stars for initial impressions. Hope they give me long service. Should probably mention the quick dispatch by JTS as well. I opted for standard delivery and reciebed in four days, so more than happy with this. First ever purchase from these guys, and I will be using them again."
